I have a Bachelors degree in Science which I passed cum laude, majoring in Zoology and Physiology. I was in the top 3% of my class and could have done my Honours in Physiology had I not chosen Zoology instead.

I completed a BSc degree in Life Sciences programme which was physiology-oriented with the emphasis on the functioning of the body at different levels. Physiology, in combination with Biochemistry and Genetics, formed the disciplinary basis of this stream, where one studies physiological systems and organs down to molecular level. Experimental and specific scientific skills were also developed in order for the student to have a deeper understanding of methodologies used in the private and public sectors and in the academic environment..
