Hi, My name is Winnie. I completed my Matric in 2012 , I’m 25 years old, I studied at Witwatersrand university and graduated in 2017, I studied Metallurgical and Materials engineering. I am currently working as an engineer where I apply everything I’ve learned in the past 17 years of my education, I mostly enjoy tutoring Mathematics and Physical sciences , I’ve tutored matric students before in preparation of their Trial exams and achieved an improvement in their marks as compared to June exam marks, I am always willing to help and I get much joy from seeing people growing mentally and academically. I will be pleased to meet you so we can engage and I can’t wait to see you do well academically.

I am a passionate UNISA Postgraduate Diploma in Taxation & Advanced Diploma in Accounting Science holder, currently studying Postgraduate Diploma in Management Accounting (CIMA). I have a growing passion and love to teach and share my knowledge with others. I have been tutoring for the past 10 years (I started at my 2nd year of my Bcom Accounting degree tutoring High Schools learners and 1st years).

I am a multi-faceted individual with a wide variety of interests that I pursue with determination and curiosity. ​ With Computer Science as my major, coding has become both an academic interest and a hobby. It rewards logical thinking, an ability I pride myself on, and the versatility of computers excites my passion for abstract reasoning and problem-solving. I am passionate about using computers to promote development and community and spend time considering how to use them to do such. ​ My additional subjects are physics and philosophy. Above and beyond the curriculum, I enjoy researching certain aspects of these fields. I often explore fascinating physical phenomena or read philosophical musings. I also regularly engage in critical discussion with my family and friends about a broad range of topics. ​ I am a creative individual and especially enjoy using music as an outlet for my creativity. I dabble with instruments, such as piano and ukulele, learning pieces, fooling around and, if the inspiration strikes, writing as well. ​ I believe in holding myself to a high standard and continual self-improvement, so I ensure that I stay fit and exercise frequently. I love both working out individually and taking part in team sports. In addition, I meditate often. I have recently started practicing Reiki as a method of clearing my mind and easing my thoughts.

My name is Megan and I was born and raised in Johannesburg. I went to St Mary's School in Waverly. After matriculating I took a gap year and worked in the hospitality industry abroad. In 2011 I began my Bachelor of Arts degree at Rhodes University. In 2014 I graduated majoring in English and Photojournalism. For the next 5 years, I worked in the corporate photography industry, photographing travel trade events, and moving on to work for Edcon, photographing apparel in the studio for the eCommerce website. Leaving the corporate world towards the end of 2019, I completed my TESOL certificate and flew to Thailand to teach English to Korean children at a summer camp for one month. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience teaching and decided to make a career change. Upon returning home due to the pandemic, I began teaching English to Chinese children online. Although quite challenging adjusting to teaching online, I really enjoy teaching the younger students and seeing how excited they become when they get something right. At about the same time I began tutoring English as a foreign language to international adults online and still am today. Through my travels, I was able to meet a few of them which was really a great experience. Currently studying a PGCE in Foundation Phase online through Cornerstone Institute, I have just returned from a year of teaching in Thailand. I am a very organized, hard-working professional who is passionate about getting as much practical experience as possible to become the best teacher that I can be.

I am an optimistic person always trying to find the positives in any situation. I understand the stuggles that students go through when studying and not able to understand a concept due to poor teaching efforts and lack of attention given and I would love to assist in anyway possible. my motto in life is nothing is difficult it's just unknown. Anything is possible when you put in the effort and energy.

I am a third year Actuarial Science student studying at Stellenbosch university. I am very patient and come from a family of teachers. I am here to help both the student struggling to pass as well as the student looking to extend themselves. Earlier this year I completed a tutoring course through my university and tutored first year BSC maths for the university. I am a very committed and perseverant individual and will do everything in my power to make sure my tutee performs to the best of their ability. During high-school I was in charge of the peer tutoring committee where I helped struggling high-school students and gained valuable experience.

I am currently working on completing my last module to obtain my degree in Applied Maths and Stats. I have done this degree as a self study through UNISA and I am well versed in understanding and helping those that need assistance in self study and one on one attention. l have 18 years experience in Human Resources where l acquired various core HR skills. My experience is complemented by my recent qualification in Bcom Industrial and Organizational Psychology. l believe that having gone through various organizations with different culture and dynamics I believe l have acquired extensive experience over the years that can be ported to this position,. I am very trusting and believe in giving people benefit of a doubt, which they always take advantage of for their own selfish reasons. Over the years I have learnt that one need to leave a room for disappointment. People are loyal to themselves. People always distance themselves from an agreed decisions if they realize the decision will not be well received. My philosophy is that success is not a comfort zone we need to challenge ourselves.
