I have a great mathematical knowledge and have spent many years assisting my classmates with the subject. I am passionate about Mathematics and have a deep understanding of the concepts. Most importantly I am able to express concepts using different ideas and able to communicate my understanding to others.

I believe that in order to understand maths better a combination of knowledge, skills and self belief is essential. Furthermore I believe that maths is perceived incorrectly as just a bunch of facts and figures. It is actually more a lifestyle, it helps in reasoning, improves interpretation and intuition, teaches us patience, logic and enables us to view our world in a more systematic and orderly manner. It teaches us to look at something in a few different ways before making an assessment as to what steps to take which in fact is one of the basic life skills.

Mathematics is my personal best subject hence I decided to Major with Mathematics Education for my Masters Degree in order to change the negative mind sets towards Mathematics. I believe that everyone with a changed mindset and positive attitude can easily understand Mathematics by the help of a dedicated Tutor. I am capable of instilling love and positive attitude towards Mathematics from a student with Non interest of the subject.

I am a qualified mathematics teacher and a lover of mathematics. Although I know it can be tough, there is a lot of enjoyment to be found in applying your mathematical knowledge in order to solve problems. I would love to help change your perception of mathematics to one in which you view mathematics as a fun and participatory subject.

Growing up with an Autistic family member, i have learnt to be patient with my learners because everyone learns differently. I regularly pride myself in developing new strategies to help cater for kids with different kinds of learning abilities so i can teach in a way they can learn.
