I am passionate about teaching and would appreciate the opportunity to prove my skills. I am a hard working individual who always tries my best. I carry out tasks diligently and I am able to meet deadlines. I am an understanding but firm person, a quality I believe is important as an educator/tutor (especially during group tuition).

I am 23 years of age and I am currently studying towards my LLB degree at the University of South Africa. I enjoy talking and love meeting new and exciting people. I believe that inside each person there is a potential waiting to be unlocked. Nothing is hard if you set your mind to it. I am currently studying at Varsity College in hopes of achieving my doctoral qualification in psychology. I recieved 5 distinctions in my matric results along with full colours in academics during the year. I love literature, the english language, animals and I am a people person. I have experience with children through babysitting as well as having done work at a primary school aftercare. I really have a passion for learning and working with children which is the reason I am tutoring.

I am a lovely human who makes extra learning enjoyable and less of a chore after a day of school or studies. Having au paired ages 9months, 3-16 years as well as leading a youth group ages 12-22, I have experience with a wide range of age groups. Learing disabilities or stumbling blocks are not an issue having dealt personally with ADD and having an occupational therapist as a sister. Often tutoring is needed not for repetition but for a different way of explaining and understanding. I walked away from high school with 5 distinctions and have a degree in Marketing & Media with electives including English & Classics.

I teach Geography as well as history. I chose these subjects because I love them and I got distinctions in both of them in high school. I'm used to challenges which have made me gain my problem solving skills.

I am a Medical Doctor but have changed careers into Education as this is my passion. I have lived and travelled to many parts of the world (to both work and experience life) - Australia, Canada, Scotland, England, Wales, Ireland and South Africa. Currently I am living in Durban with my wife and two young daughters. My outside hobbies include Aviation and History/Culture. I attended Durban High School and then the University of Natal Medical School, after which I passed and was accepted as a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. Currently I am completing my Postgraduate Certificate in Education through UNISA and my TEFL (UK). My first language is English (IETLS band 8.5 through the University of Cambridge Testing System).
