I love challenges. I performed extremely well in Mathematics because I learned how to break down complex processes into simpler steps. This especially helped me in primary school and I am sure that I can help any child adapt to a way of learning that suits them.

I achieved 88, 88 and 95 for 1st, 2nd and 3rd year mathematics at UCT, with the class medal for 3rd year. I have extensive experience tutoring maths at a first year level. I am a patient, enthusiastic tutor and I am happy to tutor maths at any high school level as well. I can also help with MAM2000W and MAM3000W at UCT, since I have thorough notes and a strong understanding of those courses.

Some financial challenges forced me to sell my car but I'm available to tutor

I am a Civil engineering student at the University of Cape Town wanting to tutor Maths at a high school level. I got a high averages for Maths and Geography, and I achieved the prestigious award of being on the UCT deans list for engineering in 2015 and 2018. I am wanting to pass on the maths understanding that I have attained to high school students wanting to excel in Maths and/or Geography. I am a very social individual, and feel comfortable around new people. I think that I would be a good asset to you if I were to be your tutor. Enthusiasm and patience are two of my strongest traits, and making learning enjoyable is a part of my success.

My name is Courtney. I have just completed 4 years of studying a Bsc in Human Life Science with 3 years Psychology as an extra subject, at Stellenbosch University. I will be living in Cape Town this year (2017). I am a hard-working, diligent, caring and compassionate person. I will create a fun, loving, vibrant, physical and healthy environment for your child. My experience with children range from one year olds to seventeen years old. I am very energentic and nurturing. I am a friendly and hardworking student. I went to Westerford High School and was in the top 20 in my grade with an average of 86% in my final examinations. My matric subjects were Maths, AP maths, Physical Sciences, Life Sciences, French, English and Afrikaans. My top sujbects were Maths (91%), Afrikaans (90%) and Life Sciences (89%). I am currently doing a BSc in Genetics and Human Anatomy at UCT and my electives are Maths, Physics, Biology, Chemistry and Statistics.

The time is set by the individual since everyone is different , and I teach to suit the student . Initially we start with a past paper or short assessment test , and see which way to go from there. Math as an interesting subject and a great one when taught well.
