I am a final year medical student who achieved a distinction in biology in highschool. Being a medical student I am well versed in most areas of biological sciences and will be a great person to get you on track to getting that distinction.

In Matric I achieved a final average of 91% for my NSC exams. I have always enjoyed Biology but unfortunately for this subject you can not solely rely on a tutor to teach you all the material, you also have to put in quite some time if you want to achieve a distinction for Biology. I can help you develop a deeper understanding of all the concepts of school Biology, and I can teach you techniques for certain exam questions (that always manage to pop up in exams). But at the end of the day it will be up to you to memorise all the syllabus material in order to achieve that distinction. For Life Sciences, a tutor can merely guide you to your distinction, he/she can not achieve it for you. This might seem rather blunt, but this is unfortunately the harsh reality of Life Sciences.

I am the best tutor for this subject because I understand that Biology is a subject with a vast amount of terms and concepts which can get overwhelming. I am good at assisting with note taking that is effective for good memory recall and understanding of concept and terms.

Just as the sciences are a big part of my degree, I have spent the past 4 years studying the human body as well as many other organisms that are studied in Biology. This was always my favourite subject in school, simply because the topics covered are absolutely fascinating.

I am currently in my 2nd year of a BA of Sports Psychology, I have achieved an average of 83% in my 1st year and 77% for my 2nd year.

I have a lot of experience teaching this subject. I am able to teach to a student's understanding and am flexible enough to adjust my teaching style to the student's learning style. I love helping students to understand and learn their subjects!

I am currently a third year Social Work Student at the University of the Witwatersrand. My motivation to embark on my social work came from my interest in psychology and stemmed from my time during school where I joined the outreach team. I have always felt passionate about helping people in any way that I could and through my time with the outreach team I was exposed to many children much younger then myself as well as the same age and the horrific and the horrific and appalling conditions they were forced to grow up in. Having been exposed to the in comprehensive amounts of physical and emotional abuse these children have suffered, their neglect and abandonment and trauma have made me feel passionate about wanting to make a difference. It also peeked my interesting into the field of child social work. I strive to make a difference in the lives of young children as I believe every child deserves a chance at a life full of joy, love and protection. Through my social work journey I aim to acquire the skills and knowledge that enables me to one day, help save a vulnerable child’s life by placing him or her in a healthy environment where they are cared and protected for, as well as intertwining my ever growing interest and passion for psychology in my work by helping heal the scars of these vulnerable children’s pasts. I believe that I am a fun, kind and selfless individual with a deep passion for helping people and animals. As a student social worker I am open-minded, respectful and accepting, thus I am adaptive to the uniqueness of each persons differences and diversities. I believe that each of us radiate our own light and that we are filled with an abundance of unlimited potential, it takes one person to help you find the tools to unlock your potential and the benefits and rewards are infinite. I have previous tutoring and aupair experience. I am a flexible individual and I am able to adapt my teaching style to the needs and interests of each individual child that I meet.
