Hi I am a qualified Grade 6 educator from Cape Town. I graduated in 2018 with a Bachelors of Education (ISP) at CPUT specializing in Mathematics and Biology (Natural Sciences). I have been tutoring for 6 years and have excellent references at hand. I enjoy helping children understand and grasp new concepts. My biggest passion is Mathematics!

Hi, I'm Michelle, Do you ever wonder if you'll ever 'get' maths or physics? Does the textbook look way too complicated? Does your teacher speak Dictionary instead of English in class? I know exactly how you feel!! I've been teaching maths and physics for over 3 years now and I understand that our brains work differently to each other's and our minds hang onto different pieces of information while we learn. This is why I teach at a pace you're comfortable with, use words that make sense to you (I have many ways of explaining the same concept) and welcome your thoughts and questions as I teach. I use colour and diagrams, give you ways to remember the weird theory and help you understand what it is you need to do in your tests and exams to earn marks.
