Hi My name is Thabo, I am an Electrical Engineering graduate from the University of Cape Town. I currently work as an Electrical Engineer in training for George Municipality in the Garden route. I have taught Mathematics and Physics at my old high school and in various township schools around Cape Town. I am goal driven, determined and a hard worker. I believe in creating a teaching environment that allows students to speak up, ask questions and be engaged in the subject matter being taught. Personality wise, I think I have a good temperament, I am kind and patient with people and so get along with a lot of students I get to teach.

Responsible for Electrification Reticulation designs, substation designs, monitoring and maintenance of George municipal grid, checking and testing for compliance of SmallScale Embedded Generators (SSEGs), identifying and fixing faults in cables, etc. • Designing and installing energy efficient street lights, pumps and geyser ripple control systems. • Calculating and implementing protection settings for various municipal substations. • Renewable Energy systems designs (solar Photovoltaic plants and Wind Farms) • Compiling tender documents and reviewing technical specifications of tender documents.
