Hotel Supervisor
I work 12 hour days and shifts, therefore I am available on every day, on each alternative week. Therefore if I am off this week Tuesday and Wednesday then the next week, I will be working. I manage a small boutique hotel in Melrose and I multitask with all the different departments, from housekeeping, maintenance, guest relations, bookings and admin work.

Bcom Tourism Management - University of South Africa
This degree took me a long time to finish, with financial and work pressures. But it is not how long you take, but the fact that you finish something you started, which I am very proud of. Tourism is my passion and I am currently a hospitality supervisor at a hotel. I have been in the industry for almost 20 years. My course was mixed with a lot of business subjects, which led me to do my MBA later on.
MBA - University of South Wales
I just completed my MBA, this was a thrilling and challenging course. I am grateful to have pushed through and succeeded with life and work pressures.

I have done French up to A'level. It is the most beautiful language to learn and this can help you learn, Spanish and Portuguese more easily. I can teach basic French to a child in terms of grammar, vocabulary, reading etc. Learning another language is very beneficial later on in life, even if not for work, but for basic communication.

My first love and first degree is Tourism. I have also worked in the industry for 20 years now. It is a widely diverse business and everyone should understand what an important revenue stream it is to a country. I have a great enthusiasm for this subject.
