I am an assistant lecturer in Visual Studies at the University Of Pretoria. I have been lecturing for 4 years. My specialist topics are 19th-century European art, film theory, visual activism, history of design and visual communications. I am currently a PhD student in digital culture and media researching images in social movements.

I am an education student, I am currently in my third year. I love helping students understand Afrikaans, as it can be a difficult language at times. I have a passion for working with students and the Afrikaans Subject is dear to me.

I'm a primary school teacher with 2.5 years experience in Afrikaans, Social sciences and Lufe Skills. Afrikaans is my home and main language. I teach Afrikaans First Additional Language as well. I stay in Centurion.

I am a 3rd year Aeronautical Engineering student who would like to inspire youths to join STEM related fields by teaching them how interesting and exciting Maths and Science can be and increase their awareness of careers in these fields. My teaching methods involve relating material learned to real world applications and to show students how the knowledge they learn will be useful not only in their career pursuits but also in everyday life.

I love mathematics and physical science and it gives me joy to help students reach their full potential in these subjects! My career is teaching these subjects at high school level and I have also tutored for many years. I am currently employed at a fantastic high school in Johannesburg so I have my finger on the pulse of what is happening in classrooms throughout the country. My syllabus experience ranges from CAPS, to IEB and Cambridge International Examinations, and I have taught both of my subjects in English and Afrikaans. What students mention about me is my vast knowledge, the patience and variety in my explanations and the caring manner in which I help any and all of my students until they succeed. I am not afraid of technology and often help students via digital platforms.

I've been afforded the privilege of music lessons from a very young age and I still experience the value and positive impact this had on my academic, personal and professional life. I currently run MoveIt Meerkats, a business I built ground-up. My goal is to share my passion for music and teaching with as many families, care takers and pre-school children as possible. My music qualifications (all from UNISA): Piano Grade VIII, Organ Grade VIII, Theory of Music Grade VI, Voice Grade VI, Recorder Grade III I am a mountain biker and belly dancer. Passionate about Italian cooking, colour, travelling, friends (old and new) & family!
