Hi. I am Robyn, currently studying Bsc at Stellenbosch University. I am willing to tutor students between grades 10-12 in mathematics. I attended extra classes to improve my standard and i averaged 80-90% in mathematics. Tutoring hours can be negotiated.

I enjoy teaching children although my current students are mainly adults. I have two grandchildren.

I am a dynamic individual that is passionate about making a difference in peoples lives and helping people reach their highest potential. I hold a BA Communications degree with majors in Communication Studies and Industrial Psychology. I am a mother to a teenage son and understand the difficulties our youth face in balancing their academics with extra curricular and social engagements. Some of my hobbies and interest include cooking, scuba diving and reading.

Hello! My name is Melissa and I have my Honour's degree in Psychology from the University of Cape Town. I have also completed a 168 hour, level 5 certification in Teaching English as a Foreign Language. I am a very caring and friendly teacher with lots of patience. I create a fun, interactive and relaxed learning environment so that my pupils feel comfortable learning with me. My teaching style is flexible as I plan my lessons around each student's goals. I make sure to use different topics and materials that are suited to each individual's needs. My teaching experience includes working as an academic tutor to children and teenagers for 4 years. I have also worked as a volunteer English teacher for a non-profit organisation for over a year. I taught English as a second language, to underprivileged school children. I have plenty experience with children as I worked as an au-pair for a year to three children between the ages of 10-18. I currently work as a school counsellor in the mornings at an under-resourced High School in Cape Town.

I am a young chemical engineering student at UCT. I am hardworking and determined. I am patient and enjoy helping others.

I have a passion for the outdoors and sharing the knowledge of how science is integrated into those environmental systems; be it in the biological, chemical, physical or geological sector.I am a patient and enthusiastic person when it comes to sharing knowledge and helping those around me. I believe i have an excellent skill in making those that i teach understand the work at hand in a simplified manner. I was born on a cold autumn night, when even time seemed to stand still, in my own village in venda elim , Limpopo. I do not remember much of my early childhood, but my mom said that I was a very active, curious, and communicative child, i enjoyed working with numbers and calculating "things" was always a passion i had. I would ask dozens of questions each minute, even without waiting for the answers. I suppose this is why my parents offered me books, calculators, number patterns and educational movies as early as my third birthday. Fortunately, my thirst for knowledge did not come to an end when I was at school. I was passionate about mathematics. This passion helped me gain profound knowledge in these areas, and I was admitted to the univerisity of johannesburg. Today, I am a student studying a BSC degree in mathematical sciences, and I feel very happy about it. I am certain that my degree will become my ticket to a better tomorrow. I want to become a statistician or most probably an Actuary, but besides that i want to become a highly qualified maths tutor.. I study hard and devote my free time to helping a few highschool learners with maths, its a hobby i enjoy. Of course, I understand that life is not just a bed of roses, and challenges and hardships are an integral element of life. Since my parents could not help me cover my college expenses in full, paying off my student loan has become an important challenge for me. this is why i want a part-time job as a tutor and full-time study to earn my living and my education. these nothing better than doing something you love and earning a salary through it. I have come to believe that two main factors determine success. First of all is a person’s own determination and will to succeed. Are you ready to make sacrifices to achieve your goal, like working and studying at the same time? Are you prepared to recover after failure and proceed to your goal again? Without strong internal motivation, it is nearly impossible to become successful. Equally important is the support of people around you. Being determined to succeed does not mean alienating everyone and stepping on other people in order to achieve your goal. On the contrary, success is about recognizing your weaknesses and accepting support from people who genuinely want to help you. My name is Namita Vanmali and I have just completed my BSc degree in Applied Biology and Psychology at the University of Cape Town. Im energetic, active and thouroughly enjoy teaching!
