I have a passion for biology and geography as its two subjects that are practical and can be easily learnt. I am a final year Bachelor of Commerce Economics, Politics and Philosophy student who is motivated and energetic. I enjoy tutoring and have previously been part of the University of Cape Town Residence Tutors Council (RTC). I am a caring and motivating tutor who enjoys seeing students reach their full potential and excel. I have excellent high school results for the subjects that I wish to tutor and believe that I can enhance the learning experience of any student that I work with. 

I graduated with my English and Philosophy Honours degree within 2018, achieving full academic colours. Prior to this, I graduated in Philosophy, English and Psychology, being placed on the Dean's List. I enjoy engaging with theory and I love encouraging conversations around critical thought, specifically within the world of literature. I have been within the teaching sphere since the age of 15, having worked with children and teenagers of all ages throughout the last ten years. Additionally, I held a tutoring position while at varsity in 2016, giving me high-level experience of teaching. Having worked both with individuals and with groups, I feel I have developed skills in holding a creative space; monitoring the learning process so as to develop the correct skills for analysis and writing; and mediating between both myself and my students, and amongst the students themselves. In terms of school-age student tutoring, I am particularly capable in the essay-writing sphere, and am predominantly interested in tutoring English. I would require information on my tutee's subject matter and syllabus, and would design their work around their particular school, work requirements, and skills and weaknesses. In terms of university, and/or other tutoring requirements, I am available for tutoring English and Philosophy, and for the teaching of English to older persons. I teach via Skype, and would be delighted to set up an initial Skype interview to see if we are a good match!

My name is Tuli Kanime, 27 years of age, and I am a full-time student pursuing a Masters in Geotechnical Engineering at Stellenbosch University in South Africa. I did my undergrad at rhodes University where I obtained a BSc and BSc with Honours in Geology in 2011, and thereafter I went on to work for a diamond mining company for 4 years before quitting to pursue my current programme. I am particularly passionate about helping high school and undergrad students who are experiencing difficulties in chemistry, geography, mathematics and any topics in geology.

I have good communication and socializing skills and I'm a natural born leader, I am also a motivational speaker and I love working with people and developing future leaders through academic enhancement. I love changes as they are a wonderful source of learning. I'm a Bcom Honors(Economics) Student at UCT, i did my first degree at University of Venda, where my majors were Economics and Financial Accounting and Business studies, i would be interested on giving tutorials on Accounting and Economics.

I am currently a third year student at the University of Cape Town looking to get out of my comfort zone and take more risks. I do not have much experience in this field, but I am more than willing to learn. I am a hard working, responsible and friendly individual who you can rely on at any time. I am very interested in different cultures, people and languages and hope to travel the world someday.
