I am a qualified teacher with a Bachelor's degree in Linguistics and English Literature. I also have a Post Graduate Certificate in Education specializing in teaching English both as a First and First Additional Language at FET (high school) level. I have three years of tutoring experience (both in university tutor groups and as a private tutor for a family with children in middle and high school). I also have one year of teaching experience in a South African high school. I also have three years experience teaching English as a foreign language in China (to a range of students aged 4-19 with drastically varying levels of proficiency). I am always well prepared and am very resource-based in teaching (I like to have multimedia, games and physical objects to aid learning). I believe in a learner-centered approach to teaching and am fiercely dedicated to my pupils.
