Over the past 20 years I have worked in a variety of teaching environments, form formal education to corporate training, online educational programmes, tutoring and extra mural classes. I have a BA Drama from the University of Pretoria and completed additional modules at Unisa for non-degree purposes on Literature. I am passionate about improving the lives of learners through education and started a small NGO to accommodate programmes I am already involved in as well as create opportunities for more projects on literacy etc.

I received over 80% for English in Matric and I also complete a year of English Literature in my first year at UCT. I am very passionate about the language and also about analysing and critiquing pieces of literature.

I have 12 years' experience developing educational material from Gr R through Gr 12 in English Home Language and FAL; Afrikaans Home Language and FAL; Entrepreneurship, Life Skills and Economics. I have developed teacher training and support material for all these subjects and more.
