I am the best tutor for English as I thoroughly enjoy teaching English. I have experience in teaching English to young learners. I make my lessons fun and interesting. I use a lot of practical examples and I include my students.

I am currently studying to become a teacher and specializing in English. I also have experience with tutoring English to primary school children. English is also another subject I am passionate about.

My home language is English and I did English Home Language as a subject throughout my school career. While studying my Bachelor of Education Degree, I did English Studies and English as a Language of Teaching and Learning where I received my big E (allows you to teach learners in English). When tutoring, I teach English to the learners as part of their homework and studying. I also taught Extra English to a grade 7 child for a year, while helping a grade 9 pupil with extra English as well. Not only can I teach the language portion of English but also the literature, poetry and creative writing.

I have been an avid reader from a young age. My love for reading quickly developed into a passion for the English Language. Additionally, I received a distinction for English in my matric year. I enjoy writhing poetry.

English language is a difficult subject and one doesn't always understand what is going on in the subject and that is okay. I am a home language English and Afrikaans speaker and languages are my strong point and I want everyone to feel comfortable with both languages and not see it as hard or dread the work.

I excelled at English in Highschool. I also completed the IEB Advanced English course and am currently studying first-year English at Wits. I am passionate about the English language and would love to instil that passion within those I tutor.
