My name is Lethokuhle Duma. I am a fourth year student, studying civil engineering at the University of Witwatersrand and I plan to become a geotechnical and/or structural engineer because of my big interest for construction, infrastructural development and the earth sciences. My interest comes from growing up in a community where infrastructure and development was lacking, it has always been my desire to learn the necessary skills it takes to implement such constructions in a community in hopes to be a part of a team which specializes in such responsibilities. My love for maths and sciences was also a major contributing factor that encouraged me to choose engineering as a career path. my other interest are design, art and technology.

I am a hard working tutor that would do anything in my power to achieve the results the client wants. My goal is to make the student comfortable with the work, papers and answering of general questions.

I am currently a PhD candidate in the field of Engineering Hydrology and Meteorology at UKZN. I have a Masters degree in Civil Engineering and I have 4 years experience as an engineer. My studies and work require high level expertise in maths and sciences. I am passionate about science and I enjoy helping others develop their skills in the field.

I am a 26 year old man with ambition. I have a degree (B.ENG Civil Engineering) in Civil Engineering from the University of Pretoria and work as a full time Civil Engineer in the Dams and Hydropower department of AECOM. I graduated in 2014 and started working for AECOM directly after I finished my studies. I am a very motivated teacher and always enjoy helping students develop their Science and Math skils. I have a very good knowledge of Physics and Mathematics due to my Civil Engineering degree and I work with these principles every day. I am a very active person who loves playing all sports but especially Rugby, Cricket, Hockey, Tennis and Swimming. I recieved provincial colours for Swimming and Hockey at school. I also enjoy playing Golf and scuba diving in my spare time. I am engaged to be married in December 2016 and am therefore very motivated and driven to teach so that I can pay off my study debt before I get married.

I am currently a civil engineering student and mentor, I enjoy sharing my knowledge with others and support those who need feel hopeless, for I always say to my students that "Nothing is impossible without effort" . I also love music (piano and organ) and play tennis.
