I was born in the Free State and moved to Witbank when I was 13. Matriculated in 1993 and started studying at the FET College in Witbank. Personnel Management. I finished my N4 and started working for a Financial Advisor at Old Mutual. In 1995 I started working at Harvey Nortje Inc and was inspired to start studying again. My original course was presented by Technisa, but my final Degree was through Unisa. My working experience (22 years) helped me a lot with my studies. My working experience is in :- 1. Implementing systems and procedures 2. Organisational effectiveness 3. HR Administration and Recruitment 4. Finances / Bookkeeping 5. Information management 6. General Administration I have always been interested in getting involved with teaching, but unfortunately I never had the opportunity. I finished my BTech Degree Business Administration in 2012 and it was a very big day in my life. It was not easy with two young children at that time still babies and a full time job. During my 12 years of studying, I came to the realisation that the understanding of a subject is both theory and practical exposure. Discussions with people with practical experience in a specific field, shades more light and understanding on the theory.
