I am an IT Support Technician and have been in the IT field for 5+ years. I have mostly worked on the Help Desk or been outsourced to work for companies on-site. I have always enjoyed teaching others and have excellent communication skills, a detailed understanding of computers, immense patience and I am able to provide solutions to technical quiries in an efficient manner. I believe those personality traits and work experience can apply to teaching too and would like to give it a try.

I attended Maritzburg College in Pietermaritzburg, followed by University of Natal (as it was then) where I completed a B Comm majoring in Economics, Business Administration and Business Finance. I have a love of reading, both classical, somewhat obscure and modern South African writing. I reside in Johannesburg, with my wife and two daughters. Until recently I was in the technical production industry, running the operations and project management side of things to do with the setting up and delivery of major events. This industry has ground to a halt due to the COVID 19 issues, so it's time to do something else!
