English Literature tutors in Montana Park

I studied BA Law at the University of Pretoria from 2017-2019, majoring in English Literature. I received a distinction for English in first and second semester of my final year, as well as in matric. I believe I am best suited to tutor this subject because of the comprehensive knowledge and skill that I have acquired in the English language throughout the years I have had the pleasure of learning about it. I am particularly passionate about English Literature because of its personal impact on my recent life. The question isn't so much, "how much do we know about Shakespeare" but rather, "how well does Shakespeare know us?" The ability of literature to preserve itself over centuries stems from the fact that if you remove the words and punctuation, what lies at the heart of literature is human experience. And human experience is what connects us all universally, regardless of our differences. What was human experience in the 17th/18th century, remains human experience now. I made a choice to major in English Literature when I had a variety of modules to choose from.
