Experience of teaching and tutoring for 10 years in groups or individually. Taught students from the ages of 5 to adults in a professional setting. Additionally,I studied Childhood development and Cognitive Neuroscience (UCT) and therefore can teach according to every individual’s learning style. Decades ago I learned German as a foreign language myself, so I am very aware of the grammar difficulties students face. Repetition, co-operative learning and blended learning are my methods. I have vast material for online teaching (Zoom). We learn a new language by laughing at differences of other languages and finding similarities to retain grammar rules and vocabulary. We learn about the German culture and Germany itself. In this way, we learn German in context.
