Hi all. My name is Charl. I am husband and father of 5 year old twins. I have a passion for education especially in teaching and management. I have been within the education sector for 14 years and was involved in teaching. administration, management both nationally and campus level. I also have a Honors Degree in Theology and just completed my TESOL course teaching English. I hope to be involved in your education to help you grow towards your goals.

I graduated from the University of Johannesburg with my education degree in 2014. The majors that I took were English and Visual Art which means that I am able to research and analyse. I believe that tutoring is about being “people smart” as well as “taking the box and making a telescope out of it. I always come prepared and I love to help out where I can. I take criticism as a tool to do better and learn something new. I am resourceful and I try to make the most of what I have to get the job done. I believe my major Art and Design has taught me to be resourceful. I may not have a lot of years and experience in teaching, but I believe I have the drive and passion for teaching. I have always had an interest in writing. I used to be someone who wrote poetry for fun. Now I have started my own blog in November this year. My blog is about my life experiences and spontaneous thoughts that I have come up with. I have my Bachelors in Accounting Sciences and I am currently in my fourth year working at an audit firm.

I am 29 years old and have an honours degree in psychology and completed my PGCE in foundation phase. I am passionate about teaching and will go the extra mile to assist my learners. I have taught foundation phase for 6 years and absolutely love it. I have worked with a cerebral palsy learner for 7 years and together we have achieved amazing progress. I am hard working and believe that any child can achieve with the right assistance.
