As a recently graduated matriculant who has been on both the low and high end of the academic spectrum. I understand the demands of both primary and high school as well as what is required to succeed. I have found that often formal education teaches one how to stand but, in order to see the rainbow one must take many steps on their own. The skill set required to achieve academically is not one which is emphasized enough at school yet, it is a vital tool for scholarly success. I am a tutor dedicated to the process of understanding which will help your goals materialize into results. I believe in using a multitude of methods to do so because I understand that not everyone learns the same. I am willing to put in hard hours for you while developing a relationship that will nurture achievement.

General Maths & Science
I have taken both Physical sciences, Pure mathematics, Advanced Mathematics as well as Life Sciences in the IEB NSC qualification. I understand the way the material progresses and from that I have taken the time to work what the best way to teach it is. The problem that many students starting out have with mathematics is that there is no fundamental understanding of mathematical concepts, while many educators would argue that high school math is an abstract concept in nature this is not the case. Algebra, geometry and simple mathematics operations are simple concepts when taught in a way the student understands. I aim to bring about this understanding and this, combined with my easy summaries which I share with my students makes achieving their academic goals become something which is easily reachable. Science is inherently the same and is built on a sound foundation which comes from the explanation of basics which teachers sometime fail to mention but make all the difference. I have identified these areas and with this knowledge excelled in both Physics and Biology myself.
