I am a language fan, fluent in Afrikaans and English and currently learning Spanish. I believe that learning should be fun so I base my lessons on games, pictures, songs and puzzles. Learning languages is awesome fun and I bring this passion to my lessons. Reading is a great tool and skill, which also brings learning on various other subjects into play, so you can learn cool and interesting stuff while improving your language skills. I have been teaching English for more than 6 years and design my own lessons and materials based on what the student needs, what the student enjoys and what sparks their interest. I taught Afrikaans for a year and use the same approach that I use with teaching English. I have been abroad and taught students in Poland and Indonesia, so I also have wonderful stories and experiences to relate to and use in assisting with language proficiency

Microsoft Excel
I don't claim to be an expert with Excel, but I love the programme and learn through trial, error and discovery. I wrote an intermediate Excel course, which I also presented to clients and they were over the roof and enjoyed the class immensely. Every time I teach or tutor someone on excel, I learn and discover more and that is how I approach the programme. Through the constant application, having loads of fun and discovering new tricks, formulas and shortcuts everyday
