I am an energetic Gr 4-12 qualified teacher. Tutors were my saving grace in high school and I want to be that for you! I first studied my science degree in Biology, whilst doing my Psychology. Then I found my passion and pursued my career in teaching. I love blending my knowledge from science, psychology and education into my teaching of mathematics, life sciences and physical sciences. I am a full time Mathematics and Natural Sciences teacher to Grade 8 learners. I work in a less fortunate community where I have been privileged enough to use not only my science and education degrees, but also my Psychology background.

I majored in senior phase with Mathematics, Natural sciences and life orientation; as well as the FET phase with Mathematical Literacy, Life Sciences and Life orientation.
BSc Human Physiology and Psychology - Stellenbosch University
I majored in Human Physiology and Psychology with my minor being Genetics. I am extremely passionate about science and mathematics. I also pride myself on the fact that Psychology has helped me to understand how people think and learn.

I studied a BSc in human physiology which gave me a base of university mathematics, which I further pursued into Gr.10-12 mathematical literacy teaching during my Postgraduate Certificate in Education. I am passionate about making mathematics as simple as possible for learners, summaries of theory concepts are definitely my strong point.

I had computer and technology sciences in high school up until matric level where I received an A+. I have also completed a 1st year computer studies module at university level. Being a teacher at a private school, I have definitely used my Excel skills in formulas and graphs to my advantage.
