I excelled at Mathematics in high school where I won the Prize for Mathematics in matric. I have had experience tutoring Mathematics and I am good at breaking down problems and making them easier to understand for people who struggle with Mathematics. I have done AP Mathematics for matric and first year Mathematics at university and so have a thorough grounding in Mathematics from which to work.

I have had some experience in tutoring Biology. I have a thorough grasp of concepts and can explain this in simple terms to give a good basic understanding. I won the prize for Life Sciences in matric and I am especially good at writing essays for Life Sciences. This is a difficult skill and one that I can teach.

I have always found Physics fascinating and have a passion for passing on this interest to others. I excelled at Physics in high school and won the gold medal for first year Physics at the University of the Witwatersrand. I have visited CERN in Geneva which grew my passion for Physics and can provide an excellent and enriching learning experience.

I have experience in creative and academic writing at which I excel. I know what makes a good academic essay and can pass on tips and advice. I love writing and I hope I can pass on this passion to those I teach. If not, however, I can help people to drastically improve their writing skills in terms of vocabulary, grammar, and structure.

Psychology is my main interest and I am currently doing an Honours in Psychology at the University of the Witwatersrand. I was awarded prizes for placing top of Psychology in first year and in third year in my undergraduate degree (completed at the University of the Witwatersrand). I have a thorough understanding of undergraduate Psychology and am skilled at researching and writing essays. This is something I can teach to improve my students academic writing skills in Psychology.

I am passionate about English literature and have good language skills. I have done very well in English at high school and at university. In matric I received the prize for English and for Advanced Programme English. I received the Rogier Courau Prize for second year English at the University of the Witwatersrand. I also placed twelfth in the English Olympiad in 2014. I love to pass on my passion for English and will go beyond expectations to provide an enriching learning experience.
