Currently studying my bachelors degree in Marketing and business management. This includes basic accounting, marketing, economics, business and financial management, investment management. Additionally I also take agricultural economics and completed a political science module. Overall this course requires good writing, calculating and reasoning abilities as well as application of theory in a practical way.

Afrikaans
I have always received 80% or more for the subject since grade 4. I appreciate the language and have always been well versed for it. The language and the use of it comes naturally and i enjoy speaking, learning and conveying it. I am a good Afrikaans writer and speaker and have about 6 years experience in Afrikaans debating and public speaking. I am confident in the use of Afrikaans. It is my home language.

Economics
I have had an interest in the studying of economics for many years. During high school I excelled in it and it was one of my best subjects. I was among the top 10 in the subject from gr10 until gr12. It is a subject i enjoy very much. Economics is currently one of my main modules as part of my degree at the University of Stellenbosch. I passed two Economic modules during first year with an average of 70% or higher. I enjoy the subject and I believe it is a useful subject that can be used in your everyday life. I find economics extremely interesting since it is continually changing and evolving and there's always something new to learn.

Reading
Generally I am a very good reader. I have always been able to expand and explore my vocabulary through reading. I am educated and good at reading both English and Afrikaans. I grew up in a house with both parents being teachers and was always stimulated and encouraged to read and practice reading more difficult materials than was expected at the age I was at.
