I am a second year biomedical student at the University Kent in the UK. When I was doing my GCSEs, I found Chemistry quite difficult, but I was resilient enough to put in the extra work and find different means of understanding. During my A levels, I volunteered at an inner city school, where I was a TA in a year 1 class. Not only would I help the teacher by helping the children understand what was being taught but I also had one on one reading sessions with the students who needed extra help.

Mathematics has always been a subject that I enjoyed. As there is one answer but different concepts to get the answer. Through looking at their different concepts, I was able to find quick, easy ways to get the correct answer. Not only are these methods quick and easy but they give you a better understanding of each topic.

I have a passion for Science, being a Biomedical Science Student. I myself have had difficulty with this subject in the past, but through my resilient nature I was able to find different means of understanding and interpretations to grasp the different concepts of science.
