Experience
I am currently working as a BrightsparkZ Tutor. I have completed their Study Skills training course and am registered as a Concessions Facilitator with them. I completed my degree through Unisa last year and am looking for substitute teaching or private tutoring work. I have volunteered over a number of years as a school librarian, a reading mom, a Grade R assistant, literacy teacher and completed teaching practice at a few schools, both public and private, in order to complete my degree. I am a mature person and have previously had a career as a Bookkeeper, with many years experience in different roles. I find working with young minds a very rewarding and enjoyable experience and take great pleasure in the knowledge that I am truly making a difference in their lives.

    I have worked as a bookkeeper for more than 15+ years , in various industries and for small and large corporations. I have completed various bookkeeping, practical accounting diplomas and courses over the years. I enjoy preparing Financial Reports, reconciliations and statutory returns.

    I absolutely love teaching Science to young children. Nature is wonderful and for curious minds it offers so many opportunities to learn about plants, animals and how we impact on our environment. I like a practical, hands on approach to learning.
