I have since studied accounting at a university level and am currently in my third year of articles on the pathway to becoming a Chartered Accountant. Absolutely loved geography and had two wonderful teachers - one of which became the head of geography for the district. It is a very fun subject and although map work is a bit mathematical it can be fun once understood.

I currently use Excel on an everyday basis in the line of work as a 3rd year article clerk. Once understood Excel is a powerful tool that can speed up the work at hand and make it easier to correct mistakes.

Studied economics from primary school through to 1st year university in the very capable hands of teachers and lecturers along the way. Many friends hated graphs but I loved them as a somewhat artistic side to a study subject.

I took accounting from Grade 8 all the way through to my varsity years and now use accounting on an everyday basis in my field of work. I have been inspired by the passion my teachers and lecturers had and some have gone to work for the district and published the textbooks we use today.
