I have my qualification as an educator in South Africa which specialises in the English language as well as a further qualification in Teaching English as a Foreign language. My education background allows me to understand and critically analyse a learner as well as create a fundamentally effective work environment in order for the learner to achieve his or her best results. I wish to provide a non-threathening but rather encouraging learning space so that a learner can learn the necessary skills towards intelligibility.

Geography has forever been one of my favourites fields of interest, which persuaded me to further my studies of education within its field allowing for a rich understanding of the subject work and simplification for the learner. I take a personal interest in all my learner's work and integrate an effective method of learning adopted for each student needs. I have taught the work in all areas of the South African education system and thus understand the level of work that is needed to be portrayed for the best possible outcome

I specifically chose to study the language and teaching in university to gain a deeper understanding and appreciation for the language and professional environment. I have the ability to make learning more fun rather than difficult as that is how I wish to portray the learning environment.

For the average speaker of the language and everyday speech, grammar may come easy and without one noticing. But for the learner who struggles to see these patterns, I wish to impart methods of learning that simplify the learning process allowing for effective learning to take place in a safe and encouraging learning environment. Grammar can be seen to be a set of rules to follow but there are no specific rules to how the rules can be taught and that is where my speciality lies.

The English language and its writing are filled with wonder and beauty that most fail to see, of which I take pride in imparting my knowledge so that one can share the same appreciation. I have worked with many students in the past in correcting their mistakes and allowing for a deeper understanding of their setwork.
