Hi ! I am Chantelle, I studied a bcom law degree. my passion for teaching and helping others started in high school when I would study in groups, I would always be sharing my study notes and study tips to my friends and somehow managed to explain things to them. I then realized I actually like teaching and I am now pursuing a post graduate diploma in education so I can be a part time or long distance lecturer at respective universities. I am not all work and no play, in my free time - I love being outdoors and eating out at new places and traveling to hidden gems here in south Africa.

Legal and compliance assistant
on a day to day basis, I draft legal documents, and assist the compliance officer. my main duties are to perform audits on the freight forwarders who are on our FSP licensce. we conduct these audits to ensure that the freight forwarders are compliant In terms of the laws. I then compile a report and submit these to the respective portfolio managers.

English literature can seem boring if you don't understand it. But its actually a really fun and interesting subject and a really good way to expand your vocabulary and way of thinking. I took advanced English as a subject in High school where I really enjoyed this subject and because at first I too battled, I would like to have the chance to show you that it is not a boring subject !

i gained a alot of knowlegde when doing my degree as all my modules were commercial law modules. i developed a good understanding of the foundations of a contract and how most law is connected. the law modules also gave me a goodf understanding of company law and how it works.
