I obtained a distinction for my final matric results. I did maths major in university until 3rd year. I have a well rounded understanding of high school maths. I enjoy tutoring maths and believe I can get my students to understand it better too.

I am a British citizen who has lived in South Africa for the past 12 years. I was born in the UK and bought up in Singapore and HongKong. I was schooled in all three countries. My tertiary education was in the UK, Italy and South Africa. I hold a BA (Hons) in Economics and Italian, an MSc in Finance, an MComm in Economics as well as a PhD in Economics. I am thus well suited to teach economics, finance, mathematics for economics as well as Italian (upto advanced inetrmediate level).

After finishing my A-levels at school I went to University and graduated in Management Science and Computing and then completed a PGCE in mathematics teaching. I am a mother of three adult children who have now all graduated university and now live in different parts of the world. After my youngest daughter left for university 4 years ago and following many years of teaching in the UK, I decided to broaden my horizons and gain experience in the 'real' world, away from teaching institutions. This resulted in spending 4 years as Office Manager at a charity working with vulnerable young people. This enabled me to a certain extent to draw on my teaching experience while also embarking on a huge learning curve myself, acquiring many new skills including all the finance management, bid writing, being PA to the CEO, achieving Quality Assurance Marks and much more. However, my heart was really still in teaching, so in the summer I left that job and spent time in Uganda working with teachers and head teachers in classrooms and providing teacher training. The eve of my return to the UK, six years ago, became the beginning of a total life change. Subsequently I left the UK to come and live in the Western Cape, which is a beautiful place to live, but so far has proved frustrating in finding teaching work. I have recently been granted my 'Own Business' Visa which enables me to work in the field of Education - so now I am hoping to find some such work here in SA where my knowledge, skills and experience can be of benefit to the schools and children here. I am a very sociable person with an interest in theatre, cinema, reading, hiking and most especially wine tasting, since moving to the Western Cape!

I am Gunjan Gupta, working as apart-time lecturer at CPUT, Bellville Campus. I am teaching Digital Systems. I can teach at University level as well as school level. I have completed my B.Tech, M.Tech and now, I am doing my research.

I am currently studying Bcom Accounting at the University of the Western Cape. I matriculated with four distinctions, and have worked on my weaker subjects to become an all round better student.

I am a High school Maths and physics teacher and I have been working with students so far. my specific subjects are mathematics and physical science high school and AP maths. . I teach Grade 8 -12 this year. I like reading, writing short stories for pleasure, swimming in my free time and searching on the net to develop myself. I think that although we are teachers we also go on learning every day and the life, itself, consists of life-long learning and the desire to learn!.

I completed a degree in Educational Pyschology and I have my Master degree in Educational Support. I love supporting students and I will be able assist them with strategies that will enable them to improve their work.

Gordon has a strong background in Mathematics (BSc.(Hons) & MSc.) and Scientific and Technical Computing. He has a total of about 12 years of teaching and tutoring experience in advanced mathematics. Gordon has the ability to make complex and abstract concepts simpler for learners.
