Molecular and Cellular Biology tutors in Western Cape

I have a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Cape Town and have many years of experience in tutoring and mentoring students with their studies.

I am 23 year old graduate of the University of Cape Town, holding an Honours degree (distinction) in Molecular Biology. I have had much experience tutoring throughout my university career and I have tutored a multitude of students with their studies. I am passionate about academia - and I enjoy nothing more than helping my students to achieve their full potential.

I have a deep understanding of the subject and all my research work had molecular biology! As a result I had to do a lot of studying, self teaching and formal training under the subject. I enjoy it and believe I can be the best to transfer the knowledge.

I have a Master's degree (MSc) degree in molecular biology, which I passed cum laude (i.e. with more than 75%). My MSc took me 2 years to complete, which gave me many hours of theoretical and practical experience in these subjects.

My undergraduate degree really solidified the foundational knowledge in this field, covering a wide range of subjects and topics. I am therefore well versed in many facets of Molecular Biology as it is a broad field. I also just really have a deep fascination and passion for all things biology and science and delve into further research on my own accord. I also understand that molecular biology can be difficult to understand because it cannot be seen so I have developed my own methods of visualising and understanding the concepts.

I am passionate about Biology! During my undergrad I majored in Genetics, and Ecology and Evolution. I also have a BSc Hons (first class) in Biological Sciences, and I'm currently working towards a masters in Conservation Biology at the University of Cape Town. I have worked as a tutor on undergraduate biology courses and love making biology fun and easy to understand.
