Business Studies tutors in Western Cape

In High School I received a 75% for Business studies. I have a post graduate degree in Bcom Hons Marketing Management -Avg. 68.64% at The University of Pretoria which my two main subjects included Marketing and Business management. I've been in the business world for 5 years now, stretching from small companies to big companies including HeinekenSA where I am currently working. I have an in depth understanding of the Business & Marketing world and have a great passion for it.

The key to business studies is understanding what you are memorising. I had business studies as a subject all throughout High School and received subject specialist for it. I have found tips and tricks on how to learn and memorise the subject easily.

I am passionate, but also have the patience necessary for teaching. i love to share my knowledge and my greatest thing i wish to see is a learner excelling and reaching his/her full potential. I also make sure that before every session I am up to date and know the content well. I did a degree in bcomm Accounting and part of my subjects is an in-depth knowledge of businesses and our economy.

Business has always interested me. Thus why I completed a Bcom degree in business management. It is an integral part of everyones life; and I feel that I have some good experience that I have gained through high school and university.

Obtaining an undergrad in Financial Management, Industrial Psychology and Psychology has equipped me with a holistic insight into what the operations of a business entail. Having had the subject myself, I feel more than adequately prepared to help others make a success thereof. Business Studies (NSC: 82%)

I passed Matric Business Studies with 89% and I have helped mainly students in matric to understand it. It is not a complicated subject to understand, it requires a lot of reading and remembering concepts. There is also an exam technique one can use to do the least amount of reading and score high marks as the final paper allows students to make a selection of questions they want to answer. That selection can be on the same topics in Section B and Section C of the paper. I have a self prepared set of notes that I am willing to share with the students I tutor

With the exposure I have had, I've been able to expand on key characteristics such as patience, empathy, understanding and care which enables me to be a great tutor. I believe tutoring should be tailored to the specific student and I have become adept in identifying the best means for a student to achieve a deep understanding of the work/subject at hand. I would also consider myself to be quite relatable and I would always ensure that the student is comfortable and confident to participate in lessons and to work towards any goals that are set.

I have always been passionate about Business Studies and hope to pursue a Business Science degree when I am finished with my current degree. I excelled in this subject in high school and learned how to approach the workload in a manageable and effective way. I also took this subject as part of the IEB curriculum and can consequently help with any detailed concerns.

I love Business Studies, am a qualified teacher and have been teaching and tutoring Economics and Business in Asia and South Africa for 3+ years. I studied at UCT and have a Bachelor of Business Science degree. I love learning and I plan to travel, teach and study in South America as my next destination.
