Biology tutors in Western Cape

I absolutely love Biology and I love being able to make other people appreciate the subject as much as I do. It has always been a passion of mine which is why I completed my undergrad in a BSc. Marine Biology and Applied Biology.

I am currently a final year student at the University of the Western Cape pursuing my Honors in Complementary Health Science, specializing in Phytotherapy. I have 6 years of experience in tutoring various school and University subjects. I am enthusiastic and able to adjust to the different needs of people.

I am a fist year Med student at UCT from Ghana. I want to help people enjoy school as I did and not hate it simply because they struggle. Love to draw, run, play the guitar and read.

My name is Joanna and I am a qualified Speech and Language Pathologist/ Therapist. I enjoy working with both children and young adults. I have a passion for helping others and have a very patient and empathetic nature. I have experience in working one on one with individuals since I matriculated. I worked as a teachers assistant in the Uk for one year, where I specifically worked with those children who needed one on one attention. From there , I went to university at the University of Cape Town and completed a BSC is Speech Language pathology. Whilst studying I tutored various students through the years and thoroughly enjoyed helping them succeed academically and developing relationships with them and their families. I am now a practicing speech and language therapist but enjoy tutoring on the side.

Good Day I am a third year student. I am also a teaching assistant at a primary school. I work half day , so I am fully available in the afternoons. I am academically strong. I achieve mostly distinctions for my subjects. I have tutoring experience and aupair experience. I am 27 years old , full of life and energy. I believe everyone can achieve their fullest potential - with motivation and patience. I am hard working and work well with children. I am studying to become a teacher in the Intermediate to senior Phase.

I completed my undergraduate degree in BSc Molecular Biology and Biotechnology at Stellenbosch University in 2015. Currently, I am completing my Honors in Genetics at Stellenbosch University, and I will graduate at the end of this year, 2016. I am happy to assist in any science, maths or biology related work.

Biology is such an interesting subject because it is the study of living things and how they interact. For this reason, it can also be rather confusing at times. I can therefore be of assistance in understanding processes, finding ways to remember tricky words and making notes. I finished matric with 94% and have also take university biology courses.

I am interested in anything to do with numbers, nature and the human body; as such I did well in my chosen subjects of accounting, biology and physical science. I have experience in the accounting sector and am busy getting by B Com degree in Accounting. I am staying in Parklands and looking to do tutoring in the immediate area.

I achieved a few distinctions in matric. I also took subjects such has biology, economics and history. I am studying bcom now. So I am available in the afternoons only. I also did pure maths.
