Well I am a Xhosa woman who grew up in the Eastern Cape, I did Xhosa as a Home Language for the whole 12 years I spent in School. I've been living in Johannesburg for 4 years and I've enjoyed teaching different tribes my language, I love the look on their faces when they learn how to construct a sentence in Xhosa. I Understand how Jo'burg kids struggle with speaking the Xhosa language as it is not commonly spoken in Schools around here, I want to change that.

I am a Xhosa speaking person and I know and love my home language a lot. I have an depth understanding of the language in terms of speaking,writing, grammar,vocabulary and pronunciation. To top it up I got an A in IsiXhosa at Matric

Apart from the fact that IsiXhosa is my mother tongue, I did isiXhosa as a home language from primary through high school. in my matric year, I received an award for the top archiver in IsiXhosa in the entire grade. up until today, I still read poetry and Xhosa novels.

I am passionate about Science and currently doing my Phd Molecular Parasitology at University of Pretoria. I am highly motivated, result driven, eager to learn and explore, works well under pressure to meet strict deadlines and a passion for the work I do and excellent interpersonal skills. I have strong interest in molecular biology and microbiology and I aspire to be a Medical Scientist.
