I obtained an average of 83% for physical sciences (physics and chemistry) at the end of matric, and obtained a 90% for chemistry in my preliminary exam. Chemistry is one of my main subjects in university and we have been over most of the high school chemistry, and expanded on it. I’ve achieved a university distinction (78%) for chemistry in first semester so it is safe to say I have a good understanding of it. Chemistry is a subject that is made up of work you need to UNDERSTAND rather than work you can learn off by heart.
