Hi there, I'm Jacinta! I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting (UJ) and an Advanced Diploma in Accounting Sciences (UNISA). In 2020, I studied the Post Graduate Certificate in Education specializing in Accounting (FET: Gr 10-12), EMS (SP - Gr 7-9) and Language Conversational Sign Language. I am excited to begin my teaching career. I am creative, enthusiastic and very patient so take the opportunity to learn with me and add me as your tutor :) Looking forward to a great lesson in the future!

I'm currently working as an Academic Administrator at a private college for teachers, in the Student Support Services department. I interact with students studying degrees to become teachers. I assist lecturers with; capturing test and exam marks, researching for education conferences, placement of students and lecturers at schools for Teaching Practice. I also assist in the preparation for class timetables, orientation timetables for first years and any other academic assistance need, especially for the Head of Academics.

During my teaching practice in school, I've taught grade 8 and 9 learners Economics and Management Sciences. I am familiar with the content and know how to deliver it to learners for them to apply the content to real life situations. This creates a great way to exchange ideas because of myself and the learners can link the content and enjoy learning together. I encourage participation and love learning for students too.

I'm really great at explaining principles in accounting. I encourage and build confidence in people to enable them to tackle questions under exam conditions. The key to learning is to do questions, I ensure that the principle is tested in different ways to understand it and be better prepared for various questions. I've taught grade 10, 11 and 12 learners during my teaching practicals.
