As Academic Chairperson for Hatfield Square a residence in Pretoria. I set up a house study session called Brainy Sunday's. I found tutors for University students and worked as an English tutor for first and second-year students. I would allocate 6 hours of my time and set up lessons based on what the student said they were struggling with.

Teaching tutorials three times a week. Consulting on a one-on-one basis, three times a week. Giving one exam tutorial and exam consultations. I worked on the Hatfield and Groenkloof Campuses in Pretoria. Teaching poetry from different periods, as well as novels and plays, to first-year English students at the University of Pretoria.
