My greatest passion in life is teaching and have experienced great success at school and at university due to amazing and unforgettable teachers. This is the foundation of my commitment to helping out my students, whatever their abilities may be. Currently, I am studying towards a PGCE majoring in Accounting & EMS, rounding out my undergraduate background in Accounting at Stellenbosch University. I have been tutoring and teaching for 4 years in various settings – tutoring small and large groups, private individual tutoring, and teaching in suburban, and urban classroom and home settings. I have taught English in South Korea for 2-3 years as part of my educational experience. I’m also a qualified Accountant with many years of corporate experience. As a tutor, my goal is to untangle any academic problem we encounter together and build a connection with the learner at the same time. I really enjoy engaging with learners or students to empower and enrich their experiences with various subjects.

Accounting
I have a BComm Accounting degree + Hons in Accounting with 7-10 years of corporate experience. I understand the subject and its core functions. I also understand the frustrations and difficulties experienced by learners as accounting can be a difficult course to follow. However, with the right help and a solid foundation, it can become less intimidating and a fun subject. I adore both teaching and accounting, which makes it possible for learners to have the best tutoring experience.
