My name is Palesa. I am based in Central johannesburg but I am able to travel. I am good at junior level mathematics and English . I am in my third year of Bachelor of Accounting Science: Financial accounting with UNISA which means I am also able to help with all Grade 8-12 modules related to that. I prefer to tutor Grade 1 - Grade 10 students. Due to the pandemic, I prefer to do all tutoring via online platforms.

Experience / Education
I am currently studying at the University of South Africa and most of the courses offredd at the University are correspondence which means I do most of the work as self study. That forces me to have alot of discipline and has made me understand what I am required to learn in more easier ways. I have tutored Maths and English at both Primary and High school levels. I have also worked for Kumon in my matric year which is a company that offers tutoring services for primary school students. I have offered tutoring for Maths subjects, economics, accounting and tax for my degree to fellow students as a free Lancer and not under employment to a company or group.

    I am best suited for this subject because I received 70% in my matric year for Maths and the previous year in grade 11 I received 47%. I finally understood how to make Maths easy for myself and the light bulb has been on ever since. I love to work with numbers.

    History was a very interesting subject for me in high school. It came very natural to me. I believe I have an advantage when it comes to helping other high school students. The high school I went to really offered us a depth of understanding behind the South African history, US history and European history.

    English was my favorite subject in high school. I love to wrote short literature so I believe that can give me an advantage in working with this subject. It is a very beautiful language. Comprehension, Grammar and writing are areas I believe I can offer great help in.

    I would love to teach English to anyone abroad. I study with UNISA which is a correspondence university and that leaves me with alot of free time so I will have a very flexible schedule to fit international times as well as local.
