I'm a creative academic who is interested in just about everything. I like knitting and sewing, gaming, coding and gardening. I love practical DIY and solving problems myself. I have a Fine Art degree, where I continued my studies of French from high school, and I have my Honours in the academic side of art - so I'm adept in creating and critical thinking. I taught craft workshops for four years, I tutored for two years in Art History and I've taught English online and in person from pre-k up to casual adults. I like having a plan, but I'm used to having to improvise to adapt to students and situations. I am used to using different approaches to accommodate different ways of learning and understanding, and I'm very patient.
