I love learning and teaching and the best part of teaching is that the opportunities to learn are endless. Spent the year learning the ins and outs of data science and programming. I learned vital data science tools like Python, SQL, Git, AWS, Google Cloud, and many more. A Data science project (sprint) can take between 4 and 12 weeks depending on complexity. 95% of the time is spent learning about and gathering the tools needed to complete the project and the remaining 5% is spent implementing the code. A Data scientist requires strong programming, statistics and public speaking skills as they need to convince investors that the insights obtained from data is worth acting on.
Tutor
I tutored matrics and grade 11's in accounting, maths core, phyical science and chemistry. I delivered tutoring services either from the clients' home or school if it was more convenient. My top students managed to convert from maths lit to maths core, making available more opportunites for further education. I do not believe that university is the only way, I just believe that it should not be excluded from the list of options
