My name is Dieudonne Kolony and I am 23 years old. I have currently completed my National Diploma in Civil Engineering in 2020 at Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT) and looking to further my studies in 2021. Throughout my academic career, I have been consistently praised by my lecturers and peers for my work ethic and my willingness to help and assist others. I love mathematics, I love some of the challenges it brings. Mathematics has and will always be one of my favorite subjects that I ever came across with. I started helping out my peers back at high school because many came to seek assistance from me and because I had more knowledge and understanding of the subject or topic I gladly offered my assistance wherever possible. I consider myself to be a good tutor and I always try to find easy and real life explanations in order for the person I am explaining to understands. I am goal orientated and goal driven, meaning that when I set goals I always work hard to achieve them. To me goals are not just something to set and try your best to achieve them but its something I set and do whatever is needed until I achieve it. Allow me to work with child and patiently assist your child to fully grasp the concept in whatever is that he/she is finding a bit of difficulty to understand.

Student Technician
This was my experiential learning year as it is compulsory for us Civil students to look and go work for a company for 1 year in our second year to gain experience use the knowledge we gained in our first year before returning back to campus for our final year. I was located at a Structural Company called De Villers Sheard cc in Rondebosch. My day to day task was basically to always seek drawing work from the senior technicians. Most of my drawings, structural, civil or mechanical was based on AutoCAD. I also had assignments to complete for CPUT throughout the year and I would spend few hours everyday either at the office or at home to work on it.

I have currently completed my National Diploma in Civil Engineering in 2020 and I am looking to further my studies in 2021 . Civil Engineering is a course which allows one to be clearly focused and determined. It is a multi disciplinary course which offers you a variety of streams to choose from.

I consider myself to be a good tutor and I understand the concept of math's very well and I teach with a passion. My aim with every leaner/student is to help them get the basic concept right first and know how to apply it in any given situation. Once they get that right, they can go and become top students and also start helping out their peers.
