Stats and Data Engineer
- Proactively gather production data and monitor results against specifications to identify risks to the business relating to testing/specifications on products. - Compile 5/10 batch review data - Data Management - collect data using a variety of methods, such as data mining and hardcopy or electronic documentation. - Train employees in new procedures or protocols related to new specifications and process improvements design to bring back normal trends in the data. - During application of inferential statistics, seek out experts in the area related to the situation of potential failure to learn more about it and potential solutions. Co-ordinate the implementation of solutions at plant level. - Gather product information from various sources that might help better understand the causes of bad trends and potential product failures and then study the information to find a solution working with sections that will provide expert advice. - Identify and interpret patterns and trends, assess data quality and eliminate irrelevant data - Monthly reports as delegated by QA Team Leader. - Ensure that customer and internally specified quality requirements are implemented, integrated and adhered to in the manufacturing process.
Process Engineer
In the in the Technical Services department my role as a Process Engineer held the following functions: - Ensure effective and timeous introduction of new technologies and products to the site. - Provide support for Technical and Process related issues to all Production areas. - Trouble shooting process failures and introducing corrective actions to address the failures. - Management of BOMS for SAP and systems. - Run Continuous Improvement Projects to improve efficiency and reduce rejects. - Ensure PGM’s are properly controlled. - Provide awareness of and ensure that safe working methods are adhered to so as to achieve zero accidents and safety incidents.

PGDip Chemical Engineering - Wits University
The course focused mainly on Petroleum engineering. Oil and gas production and risk management. Off-shore drilling and sustainable development in oil and gas engineering.
