I love working with all ages, and learning languages doesn't have to be boring, I teach through music, visual aids (well not just boring old flashcards) but videos and other classroom tools. I have studied and mastered this language, having also lived in Southcentral China for 6 years, I'm fluent in it as well. I have interacted and taught Chinese students English where I face students asking grammar questions in Mandarin in which I have to answer in a manner they will understand. thus breaking the communication barrier between teacher and student. I have also written the Chinese proficiency exam for foreigners and passed with impressive results. I have also written the medical Chinese proficiency exam and have a level 2 certificate.

I have taught Chinese students as well as given training to English teachers on the different levels and uses of the English language (although with the teachers it was mostly oral English). I create a fun and exciting environment where the students don't feel like they are in a classroom learning English.
