My name is Saskia and I am 19 years old. I chose Fairland Laerskool as my primary school and as for a high school, I attended Helpmekaar Kollege. I am currently a first year student at the University of Pretoria, studying Actuarial and Financial Mathematics. I am an extrovert and miss being around people in this trying time of COVID-19 and I have chosen to become a tutor because I know the frustration found in learning new things and studying new material, but I also know how rewarding it is when you finally get it right! My history of many leadership roles proves that I am a social butterfly, a problem solver and an effective communicator. I have had experience in being a tutor and I loved every second of it!

Pure Maths
I am currently studying Actuarial and Financial Mathematics at the University of Pretoria and since I was in primary school, Mathematics was my favourite subject. I have an insane love and passion for Mathematics and I especially know the fear for the subject that some students carry in their hearts and minds. I wrote the IEB final matric examination in 2019 and received 90% as my final mark for Mathematics.
