Once I finished high-school, I was unsure of what I wanted to study in University. I then began to tutor various subjects to earn an income while I was not studying and found my new passion in life. I tutored professionally for 2 years as well as completed a 168 hour TEFL course. After this, I started studying my degree in Teaching from the beginning of 2019. I am now currently finishing my degree but still have experience in teaching. I am patient and have always interacted with younger students during my time tutoring. I will create a warm and fun enviroment for them! :) I am passionate about helping children achieve their dreams and have grown up in a country with very diverse cultures. I have also married in an interracial setting and have had to help my husband learn English as he is a native Chinese. I have a good understanding of how culture and language barriers affect a learner's confidence and abilities. I will be patient and kind in order to make sure they are comfortable and happy. I find that during this time of COVID-19, this is the best way for me to pursue my teaching dream. :)

Professional Maths Tutor at Master Maths
From the beginning of 2018, I started my tutoring job at Master Maths. I was tasked with administration and tutoring at first but then later on shifted to being a tutor only. I tutored learners in the grade range from 4 to 9. In 2019 I started my degree at Varsity College and was only able to tutor at Master Maths on certain occasions.
Private Tutor
I did private tutoring in multiple subjects for many Primary and High-school learners in my city. One of my biggest achievements was having the opportunity to tutor the child of the Irish Ambassador at the time.

I always had very passionate English teachers growing up and because of them I am able to see the deeper meaning behind literature, learned how to study the syntax of the language well, as well as feel passionately about the subject.

I greatly enjoyed the subject of Mathematics throughout my whole schooling career and did quite well in it. Once finishing high-school, I professionally tutored Maths for 2 years to grade 4 through to grade 9 learners and trained to tutor grade 10 learners. My method of teaching is always to try and show the learner multiple methods and get them to understand the content on a deeper level so their application is efficient.
