Sports Coach
I coached at Northlands Girls' High School for 3 years coaching netball, u15 and u16. With these teams I had to build the fundamentals and instill the principles of team work. Fitness and ball skills. After Northlands, I was offered a coaching job a Reddam House Umhlanga, where I have been coaching there since 2017 with measurable success. I have been able to cultivate, mold and train girls into competitive and successful sportswomen. Being a coach on the court is very similar to that of tutoring as you have to transfer knowledge in a way that will be best received by the learner. IN my years of coaching I have learnt that each learner is different and not all of them will respond the way I may expect so innovation and creativity is important. Being flexible and relatable are the key qualities to teaching and imparting knowledge. Teaching a skill as well as the rules associated with the sport, needs patience. I also taught PE introducing basketball as sport to the Senior Primary boys and girls. This was a challenging yet rewarding task, to see kids enjoy a sport correctly.

I completed a three-year degree at DUT after transferring from UKZN third year BSc Chemical engineering. I had completed all out of school modules such as mathematics, physics, chemistry and electrical engineering modules from level 1 to level 3.
