I am a student currently completing my Masters in Engineering (Electrical and Electronic). I completed my Bachelors with distinction and as the top student in my faculty, over four years, I also completed my Matric with distinction and as my schools' dux scholar. Anything mathematics related has always been my forte, but I am also great with most high school subjects as I excelled in all of them. After high school I worked in an after-school care center where I tutored students from gr.4 upwards in various subjects and helped students with their homework and study work.

2013-2014: Worked as an after-school teacher, helping learners from gr.4 upwards with homework and studying. Also tutored some high school students and gr.5-7 students in Mathematics. 2014-2015: Worked in a mining field as a engineer in training, completing basic courses for apprentices. 2015-2019: Studied B.Eng Electrical and Electronic and completed with distinction and as the top student in the entire faculty. 2019-present: Completing M.Eng Electrical and Electronic.

    I received top marks in my high school for this subject over consecutive years, I also have my B.Eng degree in Electrical and Electronic engineering, which is a field that is predominantly centered around Mathematics. I chose high level Mathematics and not Literacy for gr. 10-12.

    I received top marks for this subject in my high school over consecutive years and as a student at a bi-lingual university I have had to write many reports in this language. Engineering is a discipline that requires quite a knowledgeable understanding of the grammar and sentence construction of the language that you are communicating in as they are very critical regarding this aspect. I am studying at NWU and when I started the university was predominantly Afrikaans, meaning that all of my subjects were presented in and my lecturers were Afrikaans.

    For my undergraduate degree this tool was very imperative as most of the data received, acquired and generated needed to be analysed and sorted in order for it to be in a usable form. Data-analysis is one of the skills that are acquired through the completion of a B.Eng in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.

    I received top marks for this subject in my high school. My undergraduate degree also involved a couple of subjects involving physical science and for these subjects I received distinctions. This was one of my subjects of choice for gr.10-12.

    I received top marks in my school for this subject over consecutive years and as an Engineering student a lot of the work requires reports in English that are very critically marked. Many of the reports are larger 50 pages, over 10 000 words and the assessors give a very strict mark according to proper use of the language.
